Secret About Friday You Didn't Know 🙏 || Why Is Friday Blessed Day In Islam

Here We Will Know The Special Secrets Of Friday That Not Everyone Knows And The Friday Blessings In Islam

Allah Ta'ala Created The Entire Universe With His Power And Gave Some Of Them Superiority Over Others.  IT Made Seven Days, And Gave Priority To Friday Over Other Days.  Among The Virtues Of Friday, IT is Particularly Noteworthy That in ALL the days of the week, a Surah has been Revealed in the Holy Qur'an Only in The Name of FRIDAY, Which Will Continue to Be Recited Until The END of The World, God Willing.

 Summary Of Surah Juma:

 Surah Juma is Madani.

This surah has 11 verses and 2 bows.  It begins with the glorification and praise of Allah, in which the four attributes of Allah are described:

  1.   Al-Malilk (King) The true Eternal King, whose kingdom never declines.

  1. Al-Quds (Pure One) who is free from every defect.

  1. Al-Aziz (The Mighty) does what He wills, He is not in need of anyone, He is able to do everything without the whole universe.

  1. Al-Hakim (The Wise) His every decision is based on wisdom

After that, the prophethood and prophethood of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has been mentioned that We sent among the illiterate people a Messenger from among them, who recites to them Our verses, purifies them and teaches them the Book and wisdom.

Then Jews and Christians are mentioned.  In the last 3 verses of this Surah, the Friday prayer is mentioned:

O believers!  When the call to prayer is called on Friday, i.e. the call to prayer, then hurry to remember Allah.  And stop buying and selling. It is better for you if you know.

(Ayat 9) And when the prayer is finished, spread out on the earth and seek the bounty of Allah, that is, seek lawful sustenance.  And remember Allah a lot;  So that you will be successful.

(Verse 10) When people see a bargain or a spectacle taking place, they run away and leave you standing.  So say, "What is with Allah is better than spectacle and bargain, and Allah is the best provider."  (Verse 11)

Friday In Madina

Revelation of the last verse (number 11): In the beginning of Islam, the Friday prayer was held first and the sermon followed;  So, once the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was giving a sermon after finishing the Friday prayer, when suddenly the caravan of Wahya bin Khalifa arrived in Madinah with grain from the country of Syria. At that time there was an extreme shortage of grain in Medina.

The Companions of the Prophet understood that the Friday prayer was over and there was no grain in the houses, so that the supplies would not run out;  So they left the Friday sermon and went outside to buy and sell, only 12 companions remained in the mosque, on this occasion this verse was revealed.

Hazrat Arak bin Malik would return after finishing the Friday prayer and stand at the door of the mosque and recite this dua:

اللّٰھُمَّ اِنّی اَجَبْتُ دَعْوَتَکَ، وَصَلّیْتُ فَرِیْضَتَک، وَانْتَشَرْتُ کَمَا اَمَرْتَنِی فَارْزُقْنِی مِنْ فَضْلِک وَاَنْتَ خَیْرُ الرَّازِقِین۔

O Allah!  I attended to your voice, and performed your obligatory prayer, then rose from this congregation according to your command, now grant me your grace, you are the best provider of sustenance.  (Ibn Abi Hatim) Tafsir Ibn Kathir.  In view of this verse, some righteous Salaf have said that whoever buys and sells on Friday after the Friday prayer, Allah will bless him seventy times more.  (Tafseer Ibn Kathir).

Azan of Juma

 Friday Azan:

The adhan mentioned in this verse refers to the adhan that is given after the imam sits on the pulpit.  This was a call to prayer during the time of the Holy Prophet.  When he used to come from the room and go to the pulpit, then after sitting on the pulpit, this call to prayer would be made in front of the Prophet.

The Azaan before this was not during the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq and Hazrat Umar Farooq.  During the time of Hazrat Uthman bin Affan, when the people became too many, he called the second call to prayer in a separate house (zura) so that the people would engage in the preparation of the prayer.  Zora: The tallest house was near the mosque.

 AN IMPORTANT POINT:

Allah Ta'ala said in these verses: "When the call to prayer is given on Friday" "When the prayer is finished", how should this call to prayer be given?  What are his words?  How to pray?  It is nowhere in the Holy Quran, but it is in the Hadith.  It is known that it is not possible to understand the Holy Quran without Hadith.

WHY FRIDAY WAS NAMED FRIDAY:

  • Various reasons are mentioned for this:

  •   Juma جمعہ is derived from "jumجمع", which means: gathering;  Because Muslims gather in big mosques on this day and there are gatherings of the Muslim Ummah, that is why this day is called Friday.

  • In six days, Allah created the earth, the sky and all the creatures.  The creation of creation was completed on Friday, i.e. all creation was assembled on that day;  That is why this day is called Friday.

  •  Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) was born on this day, i.e. Friday, that is, he was gathered on this day.

FIRST FRIDAY PRAYER OF ISLAM:

Friday was earlier called "Yum al-Arooba".  Before the Prophet's emigration to Madinah and the revelation of Surah Juma, the Companions saw in Madinah that the Jews gathered and worshipped on Saturdays, and the Christians on Sundays;  So everyone decided that we should also gather one day to remember Allah;  So people gathered to Hazrat Abu Umamah on Friday, Hazrat Asaad bin Zarara offered two rakat prayers.  People named this day "Friday" on the basis of their gathering;  Thus it is the first Friday of Islam (Tafseer Qurtubi).

THE FIRST FRIDAY OF PROPHET Muhammad ﷺ:

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) stayed for a few days in Quba, the settlement of Banu Amr bin Awf near Madinah during his migration from Makkah to Madinah.  On Thursday, a day before leaving Quba, the Prophet ﷺ laid the foundation of Masjid QubaIt is the first mosque of Islam, which was founded on piety.  On the morning of Friday, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) left Quba for Madinah.

When they reached the village of Banu Salem bin Awf, it was Friday time, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) taught Friday at the place where the mosque (Masjid Juma) is now built.  This is the first Friday of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

 Significance of Friday:

The Jews preferred Saturday, in which the birth of creation had not even begun, while the Christians adopted Sunday, in which the birth of creation had begun.  And for this Ummah, Allah Ta'ala favoured Friday, the day on which Allah Ta'ala completed the creation.

It is in the hadith of Sahih Bukhari that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: We are the most backward in terms of coming into the world;  But the Day of Judgment will be the first. There is so much more in the tradition of Muslim that on the Day of Judgment, the first judgment among all creatures will be about us (Ibn Kathir).

Special virtues of reading Durood Sharif on Friday:

  • The Prophet ﷺ narrated: The best day in your days That is Friday.  Recite many blessings on this day, because your recitation is conveyed to me (Musnad Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Sahih Ibn Hibban).

  •   Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Recite Durood frequently on Friday and Friday night. Whoever does this, I will intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection (Bayhaqi).

Special virtues of a person who dies on the day or night of Friday:

  •   The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: A Muslim who dies on the day of Friday or on the night of Friday, Allah protects him from the temptation of the grave (Musnad Ahmad, Tirmidhi).

We pray to Allah to give us the opportunity to appreciate Friday۔Ameen
